I am Dr. Maddalena Cionci, an experienced nurse residing in the Italian cities of Treviglio and Caravaggio. My qualifications have been the primary driver in my career development over the years and I’m committed to providing the utmost in healthcare services to the people I serve. My qualifications are not just limited to nursing; I have also served in the leadership roles of a number of other medical organizations and committees in the region.
From a nursing standpoint, I specialize in acute care, and my main areas of focus within that area are geriatrics and palliative care. One of my key achievements has been the development of a successful program that provides holistic care to elderly citizens in the region and has earned me recognition and praise from a number of respected institutions. In addition, I have been an active participant in the Italian Nursing Association since 2003, and I also mentor nursing students in their studies and provide expert opinion to various other medical organizations in the region.
Outside of my nursing practice, I also hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Ferrara. This degree has enabled me to pursue research projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence and I have presented various papers at international conferences as well as publishing articles in an array of medical journals. Alongside my research, I also hold a leadership role at the university’s Department of Mathematics and Computer Science.
In my relatively extensive career thus far, I have aimed to build upon the successes and achievements of its predecessors. I have seen it as my mission to help guide the medical profession forward and I’m proud of what I have been able to contribute over my time in the field.
