Celebrating African American culture, the event aims to bring the community together in a celebration of unity, creativity and health! From running races to art contests and inspirational speakers, the event will host a wide range of activities for people of all ages. With something for everyone, the Sweat Week is sure to be a fun and uplifting experience for the entire community.
Creative Contests
Emerging artists are invited to submit their work in various art contests. Categories such as music, dance, theatre and visual arts help showcase the talents of our community and their remarkable creativity. Judges will score each submission according to originality, technical skill, and artistry, and winners are awarded prizes at the end of the week.
Running Races
From 5k to 10k or even half marathon, runners of all skills and ages join together to share their enthusiasm for running.
